September 2, 2009, Raleigh, NC - Jerry Helms has founded Non Stop Portals, Inc, a Raleigh NC area web portal development company. Non Stop Portals provides robust database driven solutions to assist organizations with their business processes. A representative sample of application offerings include: web design, web content management, customer relationship mangement, product catalogs, shopping carts, corporate blogging platforms, and search engine optimization.
"I wanted to found a company that offers much more than just designing a static web site. I am leveraging my experience in operations management by helping businesses grow sales and profitability with afforadable and configurable solutions. We can either host the solution using the Software As A Service hosting model or install the solution on the customer's existing computer network."
Helms was the Executive Vice President of Acroprint Time Recorder and was responsible for all operations of the company. He founded DB Basics, Inc and was recognized as a recipient of the North Carolina Fast 50 award in 1995. He has participated in multiple new business and divisional startups. Helms has a MS in Management Science from North Carolina State University and attained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
